Concerts at San Siro Stadio: guide to car parks, metro and pedestrian routes 

The Municipality of Milan has established a mobility plan for the management of live concerts. An extra service is scheduled on metro lines M1 and M5 until late at night on these evenings:

  • Club Dogo 28 June
  • Max Pezzali 30 June, 1 and 2 July
  • Zucchero 4 July
  • Taylor Swift 13 and 14 July

On this page you will find timetables and directions for metro and pedestrian routes to get to the concerts.

Getting to the concert from the centre of Milan: take M1 or M5 lines and alight at Lotto or San Siro

You can use Lotto or San Siro Stadio stations to reach the stadium and get back at the end of the concert. Follow the pedestrian routes on this map:

Alternatively, you can use Lampugnano M1 station and take the shuttle to the stadium. The shuttle departs from via Natta (near the metro exit) and arrives at via Achille at the corner of via Tesio (a few steps from the stadium). Or take tram 16, which has an extra service scheduled between the city center and the stadium.

From Molino Dorino, Lampugnano or Mi Stadio car parks and back

  • From Molino Dorino car park. Use M1 and alight at Lotto. The parking is open until 2 a.m. The last M1 trains to get to the car park depart from Lotto station at 12:06 a.m., 12:24 a.m., 12:43 a.m.
  • From Lampugnano and Mi Stadio car park. The entrances to the venue can be easily reached via pedestrian routesLampugnano car park is open until 02:30 a.m.

How to get to the stadium from train stations and airports

All train stations and Linate airport are connected to the metro network. Malpensa and Orio al Serio airports are connected to Milan by Malpensa Express and shuttle buses.

How to get back to Milan at the end of the concert: M1 and M5 are open until late at night

  • M1: trains run an extra service after normal closing time, but only from Lotto station to the terminus of Sesto FS (not the other way around). Last departure from Lotto station at 01:00 am.The M1 sections Rho-Lotto, Sesto-Bisceglie and Sesto-to-Rho close at the usual time.
  • M5: last departure from San Siro Stadio to Bignami at 01:00 am.
  • M2, M3 and M4 metro lines close at the usual time.
  • After the metro closure, trains are replaced by night buses NM1, NM2, NM3, NM4. You can find timetables and stops on the ATM app and the network map at this page

Ippodromo and Segesta stations close after 11 p.m.

For reasons of public order, we will close the M5 stations of Ippodromo and Segesta at the end of the concert. When leaving the stadium, use San Siro Stadio and Lotto M5 stations, or walk to Lotto M1 station in 15 minutes.

Avoid the ticket queue. Pay with a credit card directly at the metro turnstiles

In Milan you can pay directly at the turnstiles of the metro with a credit or debit card (also on smart phones and watches).

  • Touch in on the reader when you enter
  • Touch out with same card when you exit
  • No fees, you only pay the cost of the fare

Contactless payment is also valid on ATM buses, trams and trolleybuses. It is not valid on S lines and trains. Please visit this page.

Accessibility services - real-time status

  • The stations near the stadium (Lotto and San Siro Stadio) are served by lifts.
  • Before planning your trip, check the real-time operation of the vertical access facilities at this page.

Lotto station may be crowded

For reasons of public order, the indoor walkway to change between the M1 and M5 lines may be closed. To change, exit through the turnstiles of one line and re-enter through those of the other: the same ticket is valid.

Lines 16, 49, 64 and 80 are diverted
