The spaces and seats on board
ATMosfera trams are the result of accurate design, restyling and modernization for two of the oldest and most iconic trams in Milano.
The internal space is optimized according to the original tram structure:
- 24 seats in the dining room, obtained from the teak benches
- wardrobe
- toilet
- kitchen
Measurements of doors, entrances and seats
- width of the doors (access and toilet): 58 cm
- seat width for one person: 50 cm
- two-seater seat width: 90 cm
- distance between backrest and table: 32 cm
The room has 4 tables for 4 people on the left and 4 tables for 2 people on the right. The benches and tables in the tram are fixed and cannot be moved. It is not allowed to use alternative seats.

Departure every evening from Piazza Castello, 2 (corner of via Luca Beltrami)
- Transit to Teatro alla Scala and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Porta Nuova, Bosco verticale, Arco della Pace, Duomo, Darsena, Santa Maria delle Grazie.

The itinerary changes periodically both on the basis of road signs and to offer different views of Milan.
The menus
The menus are prepared by well-known chefs on board: they are meat, fish and vegetarian menus and are periodically updated to guarantee the freshness and seasonality of the products. The wine list is full of brands selected in combination with the food.
The menu dedicated to children consists of an appetizer, a first course, a second course, a dessert, a drink of your choice and mineral water. You choose it when you book the service and can change it up to 74 hours before in the booking website.
When booking, you can report any allergies, food intolerances or needs related to religious indications.
Each menu consists of an entrée with a flute of sparkling wine, an appetizer, a first course, a second course with side dish, a dessert, a bottle of wine of your choice, mineral water and coffee. The menus vary four times a year according to the seasonality of the products or according to the menu chosen when booking (for example the special menus).
When you leave
The dinner starts at 08.00 p. m. (ATMosfera 1 tram) and at 08.30 (ATMosfera 2 tram). The lunch is organized only on Sundays, it starts at 1.00 pm (ATMosfera 1 tram) and at 01.15 pm (ATMosfera 2 tram). The experience lasts from two hours to two and a half hours, depending on the traffic conditions.
The appointment in Piazza Castello 2 is always scheduled 15 minutes before the departure of the trams. We recommend that you be on time because the restaurant trams cannot wait to leave.

You can book it all year round, every day except on planned closures days

You can book an even number of seats. Only for last minute bookings (from 7 days to 74 hours before the start of the event) you can book for an odd number of seats.

Seats can be booked
in pairs for up to eight total seats. For more than eight seats, the exclusive reservation of the entire tram is required (also possible at lunchtime), selecting it in “
booking on line”.
Prices, payment, how to board a tram

Dinner: 90 € each

Lunch: 75 € each
You pay when booking online. At the end of the booking, we will send you the voucher by e-mail to be presented on site: it is the only valid document to get on board.
Modification, cancellation and refund
Entering the website booking on line, in the section “La tua prenotazione” you can modify or cancel your request according to the following rules. The system calculates exactly the elapsed time, in hours and minutes, from the reservation date and time:
Up to 7 days before the event (the 7 days are calculated from the start time of lunch or dinner):
- you can modify the menus
- you can change the date free of charge based on calendar availability, by selecting a new one in the current calendar year
- the number of participants can be reduced by 2 or multiples of 2, compatibly with table availability. For canceled places we refund 70% of the initial amount
- you can cancel the booking in full and you will be refunded 70% of the initial amount
From 7 days to 74 hours before the event (the 7 days are calculated from the start time of lunch or dinner):
- you can modify the menu
- you can reduce the participants’ number, but you have not the right to be refunded
- you can cancel your booking, but you have not the right to be refunded
Since 74 hours from the start of the event, the reservation can no longer be changed
Refunds are made only and exclusively by bank transfer. In the above cases, in which you will be entitled to a refund, the following data must be communicated via e-mail or infoline:
- IBAN;
- current bank account holder’s name.
In the case of clients residing abroad, in addition to the IBAN and bank account holder’s name it is mandatory to communicate also: BIC/SWIFT code
- beneficiary’s bank
- bank address
- beneficiary’s address
- Cancellations submitted less than 74 hours before the event cannot be modified.

Answers to frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Atmosfera 1 and Atmosfera 2?
ATMosfera 1 and ATMosfera 2 are identical tram restaurants and the service offered is the same.
Is there air conditioning?
Yes. The air conditioning system allows you to have an ideal temperature on board during all seasons of the year.
Is there a toilet on board?
Yes, there are toilets on board each car.
Can you bring pets?
No. The small spaces do not allow animals to enter and stay on board, even if they are small.
Is ATMosfera accessible?
The tram has steps at the entrance which do not have wheelchair lift plates.
The limited spaces and the impossibility of moving the benches and tables must be taken into consideration by people with reduced mobility. Any mechanical aids must be placed in correspondence with the cloakroom at the rear entrance of the car. Access to the toilet is limited by the internal layout of the restaurant. Check the internal measurements of the tram that you find at the top of the page before booking.
What is included in the service?
- A two and a half hour tour of the city of Milan through its historical and contemporary places
- a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian menu per guest
- a bottle of wine every two guests: white, red and bubbles wine
- mineral waters and coffee
How are the dishes prepared?
The Tram has a kitchen on board that allows you to prepare most of the dishes on the spot; others, on the other hand, are prepared by a catering company and revived before being served, guaranteeing freshness and taste..
Is it possible to ask for changes to the menu?
The menu is not customizable but our chefs will modify the dishes according to the needs related to allergies, intolerances or modifications for religious needs (you can report them when booking).
Is it possible to give the voucher to other people?
Yes, in case of cancellations, in order not to lose the reservation it is possible to give the voucher to other people.
