Extra-urban Tickets 

Extra-urban tickets allow you to travel from the towns of greater Milan area belonging to SITAM to the external ring area of Milan's network, outside the 90/91 trolley bus line circle, and viceversa.
SITAM is the the zone-based pricing system (magnetic and paper tickets) of greater Milan area.

Standard Ticket

Type A – Municipal area
Price:  € 1.30
Validity: valid within the same municipality of the greater Milan area (but not in Milan), and valid for a return journey within the 60 minutes validity period. Cannot be used on the underground.

Type B – Greater Milan area
Price: price varies according to distance/areas (see the table below and the attachment at the bottom of the page for details of areas)
Validity: different validity periods depending on the zones and semi-zones crossed on ATM’s intercity routes and those integrated in the SITAM system (the zone-based pricing system).

These tickets may be used on the underground, only once,

• up to the Loreto station if travelling from Sesto 1° Maggio FS M1 or from Cologno Nord/Gessate M2
• up to the Lotto station if travelling from Rho Fiera EXPO 2015 M1
• up to the Romolo station if travelling from Assago Forum M2
• up to the Lodi TIBB station if travelling from San Donato M3
• up to the Zara station in travelling from Comasina M3
• up to the Zara station in travelling from Bignami M5
• up to the Lotto station in travelling from San Siro M5

Weekly 2x6 Pass

For daily journeys between Milan and the greater Milan area without using the internal ring of Milan urban city network (inside the the 90/91 trolley bus line circle).

Price: price varies according to distance/areas (see the table below and the attachment at the bottom of the page for details of areas).
Validity: different validity periods depending on the distance travelled. Tickets should be stamped at the start of each journey and can be used on Sundays if both journeys for a single day of the week remain unused. In the latter instance, in the event of ticket checks, passengers should present both their 2x6 pass and the unstamped ticket for the day on which the weekly ticket was not used.Recommended for passengers making daily journeys between Milan and the greater Milan area or between towns in the greater Milan area, who do not use the Milan city network.

These tickets may be used on the underground, only once:

• up to the Loreto station if travelling from Sesto 1° Maggio FS M1 or from Cologno Nord/Gessate M2

• up to the Lodi Tibb station if travelling from San Donato M3

Luggage Ticket

Price: € 1.50 
Validity: it allows you to carry one piece of luggage for which a ticket is required. As for all tickets, luggage tickets must be stamped at the start of your journey; luggage tickets should be presented to ticket inspectors with your ticket or travel card.
