Accessibility improvements on M3 line: replacement works
We have recently launched a plan to replace lifts and escalators on the M3 line. We will install 48 new lifts and 52 new escalators to ensure the line remains accessible to all passengers. This page will provide updates on lifts and escalators temporarily out of service during the replacement works. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to your journey.
No lifts at San Donato, Brenta Duomo M3 and Sondrio stations
Until the end of December, the lifts at San Donato and Brenta stations will be out of service. Until the end of January, lifts at Duomo stations will be closed. Please use nearby stations (accessibility to change with M1 will not be guaranteed). We are installing three new lifts at the Sondrio station. Until the end of April, Sondrio station is open but not accessible. Use the nearby stations as an alternative.
Escalator replacement at Centrale and Turati
The following escalators will be out of service:
- Until the end of January: three escalators at Centrale M3
- Until the end of April: one escalator at Turati M3
Please use the other lifts or escalators available in the stations.
