An invoice is not required for the personal income tax deduction
All you need is the payment summary that you can download from your areariservata.atm.it.
The 2018 Budget Law introduced a 19% personal income tax deduction for expenses incurred for the purchase of travel card for local, regional and interregional public transport services, on a maximum annual cost of 250 euros. The relief concerns both the expenses incurred directly by the taxpayer for the purchase of a public transport pass, and those incurred on behalf of fiscally dependent family members.

How do I request an electronic invoice at the ATM Point?
First of all, you need to request the account number from the website (see question "How do I get the customer number?"). Once at the ATM Point, immediately inform the operator, before purchasing, of your need for an electronic invoice.

What happens after I have purchased and requested an invoice at the ATM Point?

What should I do if I am on a flat-rate scheme?
ATM, according to current tax legislation and the rules imposed by the Revenue Agency, is obliged to issue only electronic invoices. This applies regardless of the legal nature of external customers, who are not obliged to issue electronic invoices themselves.
The electronic documents that ATM produces can be viewed in the tax drawer, subject to indication of the tax code and VAT number. It is therefore not necessary to provide the PEC and the SDI code. An analog copy of the invoice will also be sent to the email address indicated at the time of registration to obtain the customer code.
